3 Hours Away - Blue Rodeo

Can't get used to what you told me
You said 'better brace yourself'
There's changes coming in
I wake up to a brand new story
Stop the clock that's ticking on the shelf,
Then let it all begin
Oh and Now I know that I'm right here where I was before
Chasing all my ghosts around
Maybe I worry what I will say,
Now I'm only three hours away
Living in between the pages
Watching the Strangers come and go,
Just life that's passing by
It all keeps coming down in stages
Only hurts the one's you know
No matter how you try
Oh and Now I know that I'm right here where I was before
Chasing songs from town to town
Maybe I Worry what I will say,
Now I'm only three hours away
Some things aren't meant to last
Like a day that burns up fast,
Turn away and then it's gone
Sun comes up the red sky morning,
I Pray that the trouble always passed
Just something that I dream
I Must've missed all of your warnings
I guess we played too fast,
Much closer than it seems
Oh and Now I Know that I'm right here where I was before,
Making all my plans alone
Maybe I worry what I will say
Now I'm only three hours away,
Maybe I worry what I will say
Now I'm only three hours away

Side Order of Life

"Side Order of Life" is a comedic drama about that moment in your life when the universe gives you a wake-up call. But if you're lucky enough to get it, are you ready to answer, or do you ignore it and send it to voice mail? For Jenny McIntyre, life is about to get very real, especially when the illness of her closest friend, Vivy, surprisingly provides Jenny with a new clarity and an extraordinary outlook on life. As a photographer, Jenny finds herself with the ability to make connections through the lens of her camera that were never before possible. These connections allow her to change the world around her. Jenny's journey ultimately takes her to see something that isn't clear to others, which enables her to touch people's lives. But will it also help her put her own life together?

3 janvier...

I am GRATEFUL.

Je fais CONFIANCE en la vie, je laisse aller...

Je ME fais confiance, j'écoute mon intuition.

Je M'AMUSE et je sors de ma tête!

Je suis COMPLÈTE.

Je M'AIME profondément.

2009, here I come! :)

Moon River - Andy Williams and Henry Mancini

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after that same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

Lettre 14: Noun

14. NOUN, la Gardienne du Grand Oeuvre

- Valeur numérique : 50
- Signe astrologique : Le Scorpion
- Signification : Le Poisson
- Rayonnement : Vert émeraude soutenu

Notions - Clefs :

Boxer puppy

The Boxer are happy with a very positive personality, they have an extremely high energy level and are very clownish and willing to play. The Boxer needs lots of human companionship and do not like to be alone for extended periods of time, it may also become too possessive. Loyal and affectionate, the Boxer is considered a "people dog" for the way they adapting well to children and other dogs they have been raised with.

Blue Jay

The jay reflects lessons in how to use personal power correctly and efficiently. They remind you to pay attention and not allow yourself to be placed in a position in which power is misused against you. Those with jay as a totem need to heed this warning.
The bright blue crest on the top of a blue jays head links it to father sky, reminding those with this totem that true power must be utilized with integrity and balance.

Jays are incredibly resourceful. This can represent a need within you to learn adaptability for survival with the least amount of effort. Since the jay doesn't usually migrate and stays around all winter, it serves as a teacher who will settle in and work with you as long as you need it.

Jays are fearless and have been known to gang up and drive away hawks and owls. They know how to play the game of life and succeed. Jays reflect great talent, but that talent must be developed and used properly. If the jay has flown into your life it indicates that you are moving into a time where you can begin to develop the innate wisdom that lies within you. Jay is willing to teach you fearlessness, adaptability and survival but you must be willing to follow its lead and become "power through presence."

Beverly Hall, photographer

Always a profoundly spiritual person, Beverly finally struck out for divinity school in 1998. A self-defined "seeker," she was, she says, looking for a new identity, something beyond Beverly Hall Photography. She earned her master of divinity degree at the Episcopal Divinity School in 2002. “I came out of the closet as a believer,” she says of the experience. She also came away from her four years in Cambridge with an unexpected and renewed “appreciation for my art.”

That art weaves in and out of her spiritual life. It has carried over into the home she and her architect husband Sascha Illich have created on Tennessee Avenue in Madaket. Once just a fishing shanty on Hither Creek, she says “[their home] went from a tiny shack to a rather large extension.” Together they have masterminded there what she calls a transparent home”—where all windows look out on water or garden and the outside is as ordered and deliberate as extended “rooms.” “I’m always moving the ‘furniture’—stones, plants, trees, statues, tchotchkes—in the garden,” she says.

A lover of things in threes—of altars, of stones, of separation and integration, of silence, of prayer, and of safe places—Beverly, with Sascha’s technical skills and guidance, has made a “soul place,” as she calls it, of her garden and her home. With the exception of a few sassafras trees, she says, “we have rooted everything here.” Including themselves.Roots are of the utmost importance to Beverly. “My eye is restless. I am a restless spirit,” she says.

Which brings to mind a favorite quotation of Beverly’s, from Albert Camus:

A work of art is nothing less
than this long journeying
to find again through the labyrinth of art
the two or three simple and great images
upon which, once, the heart first opened.

Lost - Michael Buble

Summer turned to winter
And the snow it turned to rain
And the rain turned into tears upon your face
I hardly recognized the girl you are today
And god I hope it's not too late
It's not too late
'Cause you are not alone
I'm always there with you
And we'll get lost together
Till the light comes pouring through
'Cause when you feel like you're done
And the darkness has won
Babe, you're not lost
When your worlds crashing down
And you can't bear the thought
I said, babe, you're not lost
*
Le soleil se voile d'un épais brouillard
Les feuilles dansent au vent
Puis, elle tombe
La feuille dorée, tombe
Elle est seule
Dans l'eau
Dans la peur
Dans le froid
À la recherche d'un bout de soleil,
Encore...
Elle oublie la chaleur,
Elle oublie,
Que Force et Brillance
Sont juste là
De l'autre côté...
Va t'elle s'y rendre
S'y envoler...

Crows - Keepers of the Sacred Law

Crows are the keepers of the Sacred Law and to have a Crow totem is very powerful.

Personal Integrity are your watchwords and your guide in Life. If you have a Crow totem, your prime path is to be mindful of your opinions and actions. You must be willing to walk your talk, to speak your truth and to know your life's mission.

Crow is a omen of Change. Crow lives in the void and has no sense of time, therefore, it sees past, present and future simultaneously. Crow merges both light and dark, both inner and outer. It is the totem of the Great Spirit and must be respected as such.

They are symbols of creation and spiritual strength. Look for opportunities to create and manifest the magic of life. Crows are messengers calling to us about the creation and magic that is alive in the world todayand available to us.

The Magician

Taking action
Acting consciously
Concentrating
Experiencing power
The Magician is the archetype of the active, masculine principle - the ultimate achiever. He symbolizes the power to tap universal forces and use them for creative purposes. Note his stance in the picture. He acts as a lightening rod - one arm extended up into the Divine for inspiration, the other pointing toward Earth to ground this potent energy. His abilities appear magical at times because his will helps him achieve what seem to be miracles.

What makes the Magician so powerful? First, he is not afraid to act. He believes in himself and is willing to put that belief on the line. He also knows what he intends to do and why. He doesn't hesitate because he understands his situation exactly. The Magician can focus with single-minded determination. As long as he remembers the divine source of his power, the Magician remains the perfect conduit for miracles.

In a reading, the Magician implies that the primal forces of creativity are yours if you can claim your power and act with awareness and concentration. This card is a signal to act and act now, provided you understand exactly what you want and are committed to getting it.
Merci Monique

The Mastery of Love - Pick a card

If you can heal yourself, then you are going to be ready for a relationship without fear, without need. If you and your partner each work on yourselves, you will see how quickly progress is made. - Don Miguel Ruiz, The Mastery of Love
