Ordinary Miracle - Sarah McLachlan
It's not that unusual
When everything is beautiful
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today
The sky knows when it's time to snow
Don't need to teach a seed to grow
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today
Life is like a gift, they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up, and find a way
To give some of your own
Isn't it remarkable?
Like everytime a raindrop falls
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today
The birds in winter have their fling
And always make it home by spring
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today
When you wake up everyday
Please don't throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
'Cause we are all a part
Of the ordinary miracle
Ordinary miracle
Do you want to see a miracle
It seems so exceptional
That things work out after all
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today
The sun comes out and shines so bright
And disappears again at night
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today
It's just another
Ordinary miracle today

Fox
Fox are seen as totems throughout the world:
the Chinese believed they could take human form,
in Egypt the fox brought favor from the gods,
there was a fox god in Peru,
foxes help the dead get to the next life in Persia,
Cherokees, Hopi other American Indian tribes
believed in its healing power;
the Apache credited the fox with giving man fire.
Since the fox lives "between times" --
on the edge of land, visible as dusk and dawn, and can guide the way to the Faerie Realm.
A fox can teach you to control your aura so that you can be more in harmony
with others and the world.
If you have a fox totem, learning to be invisible is very important in your life.
Imagine yourself blending in with your surroundings, becoming part of the background.
Be very still and quiet.
Through practice you can be unnoticed even at a party or in a crowd.
I have an acquaintance who used this power to evade several muggers;
he stood there in plain sight next to a building ,
and blended himself into the wall;
they did not see him and left without harming him. It can be done!
A fox totem also teaches good eating habits;
the fox eats small amounts frequently which medicine is now telling us is better for our health.
But fox people already knew this.
The fox is a wonderful totem to have.

Bes VS Wasp
It's time to get organized and get to work on that idea that you want to implement and develop.
Approach your projects with commitment, diligence, and dedication, and you'll succeed beyond your wildest expectations.
Involve several others in a cooperative and life-affirming venture, one in which everyone who participates will benefit -- and if possible,
one that includes the entire community.
Take the time to appreciate and enjoy the sweetness of life.
This is a very fertile time for you physically and creatively, one where you bring your ideas into fruition.
This is a very productive cycle for you, so stay with whatever you're working on, and there will be a favorable outcome.
Whatever task is before you, jump in and go for it with enthusiasm and determination.
Consider making a study of sacred geometry and how it applies to your life.
For the next few weeks, focus on fulfilling your responsiblities and personal obligations.
Break out of your routine and do something that's adventurous, unusual, and completly different from what you would ordinarily do.
Lead with your heart, not your mind.
Whatever you've dreamed of doing, put some plans into action that will help you realize them.

Bees
If a Bee has shown up in your life, examine your own productivity. Are you doing all you can to make your life more fertile? Are you busy enough? Are you making time to savor the honey of life and not becoming a workaholic?
In Hinduism, the Bee relates to Vishnu, Krishna or Kama, the God of Love. In Egypt, the Bee symbolized royalty. In Greece, it was the symbol of the Eleusinian Mysteries. The Celts associated the Bee with hidden wisdom.

Black Panther
Panther is swift and graceful. This can teach you how to meet deadlines effectively.
Like all the cat totems, panthers have great depth of vision. Each eye is capable of working separately. This teaches focus and wide vision for various life situations.
-Sensitivity and inner vision
-Valor and ferocity
-Personal Power
-Swiftness and graceful motion
The panther is a symbol of courage, valor and power. The panther has also sometimes associated with the sun, and solar vibrancy in some cultures (South American, & Central American).
Individuals with panther totem s are usually people who come into this world with a spiritual knowing - a deeper understanding of spiritual things. These people often are very intuitive, psychic, and many are artistically inclined.
Of all the panthers, the black panther has the greatest mysticism associated with it. It is a symbol of the mother, the dark moon and the power of the night. The black panther encourages us to understand the shadow powers available to us all, to acknowledge these powers and to eliminate our fears of the darkness.
-What is my Shadow Self trying to tell me?
-Are my passions helping or hindering me at this time?
-Am I still on the right spiritual path for myself?
-Am I supressing latent desires?
-Am I putting others' needs before my own to the point of self-neglect?
-Am I being mindful of my movements - both physical and emotional?
-Am I being defensive? Who or what am I protecting and why?

Rusted from the Rain - Billy Talent
Stumble through the wreckage, rusted from the rain
There's nothing left to salvage, no one left to blame
Among the broken mirrors, I don't look the same
I'm rusted from the rain,
I'm rusted from the rain
Dissect me till my blood runs down into the drain
My bitter heart is pumping oil into my veins
I'm nothing but a tin man, don't feel any pain
I don't feel any pain,
I don't feel any pain,
I'm rusted from the rain
Go on...crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain
C'mon...Strip me of my powers, beat me with your chains
And if...I'm the king of cowards you're the queen of pain
I'm rusted from the rain,
I'm rusted from the rain
You hung me like a picture, now I'm just a frame
I used to be your lap dog, now I'm just a stray
Shackled in a graveyard, left here to decay,
Left here to decay, left here to decay,
I'm rusted from the rain
Go on...crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain
C'mon...Strip me of my powers, beat me with your chains
And if...I'm the king of cowards you're the queen of pain
I'm rusted from the rain,
I'm rusted from the rain,
I'm rusted from the Rain
Go on...crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain
C'mon...Strip me of my powers, beat me with your chains
And if...I'm the king of cowards you're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain,
I'm rusted from the rain
Go on...crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain
C'mon...Strip me of my powers, beat me with your chains
And if...I'm the king of cowards you're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain,
I'm rusted from the rain, oh the sun will shine again,
I'm rusted from the rain, I'm rusted from the rain,
Oh the sun will shine again, I'm rusted from the rain

Easy
Everything is supposed to be easy.
Everything is easy.
You live in a dream world.
You're surrounded by illusions.
And the illusions change when you change your thinking!
Tell yourself it's easy.
Tell yourself often.
Make it a mantra.
Eat, sleep, and breathe it.
And your life shall be transformed.

The proverbial "tree in the forest"
"On cold days a man can see his breath, on a hot day he can't. On both occasions, the man breathes." - White Teeth, Zadie Smith
This quote struck me as particularly intriguing. In the context of the book, they are referring to Allah, Jesus, Buddha, a higher being. However, I find it particulary interesting when placed next to the proverbial "tree in the forest". If a tree falls in a lonely forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Is sound only a sound if someone hears it? Apart from the books original higher-being reference, it is an intriguing thought. Do our actions always have an effect, regardless of whether they immediately touch, or are seen, perceived by anyone else? In cases of unseen acts, does it circle back around to karma?
In the sense of the books meaning, it is basically stating that regardless of whether you are witnessed directly, your actions are observerd by a higher being and will come upon you at judgement day. Can we apply this thought separate from the reference to God or other higher beings? Will all of our actions act as a drop in the ocean, eventually creating a wave, eventually creating a tidal wave, eventually creating a tsunami? Do we assume that things we do (obviously aside from mundane, daily tasks) can go unnoticed? Are we but a drop in the ocean? And if we are, wouldn't the ocean be less without that drop?
Although we can't see our breath on a hot day, it is still there keeping us alive. Perhaps things that are not tangible, not physically visible, still have an enormous affect on the world, a lasting consequence - good or bad, maintain the flow of life. Perhaps we are not just a tiny drop in the ocean but a piece of a greater web, a web that keeps things in balance, in check. When a tree falls in a forest, regardless of whether it makes a sound (perception) or the sound is heard, it has a greater affect on the landscape, the wildlife, everything from the insects to the air we breath. Maybe it isn't the breath, or the falling of the tree but the ripple that that produces...
